This was a really fun mural to paint. The owner of the garage didn't really know what he wanted but knew he wanted a new paint job with out having to pay some painters for a regular paint job. I asked him what kind of animal he liked, he said "a whale" and I said "say no more". The color just kind of exploded and happened while painting but worked out and balanced things well. The effect of the breaking concrete was also an after thought which is part of the fun, thinking up things as you go.
